Foreign Sceneries
January 2 [Sat] - March 7 [Sun] 2021
Yuzō SAEKI Street Corner in Paris 1927 Kasama Nichido Museum of Art |
What caught the eyes of painters who decided to leave their places and go abroad? The foreign sights and experience might have caught their imagination to create next piece. Yuzō SAEKI, for instance, kept on creating his works observing streets in Paris. In this exhibition, you can explore the works by the Japanese painters who seek for their original expression abroad. We hope you to find some inspiration from the foreign sceneries and people through painters' eyes, as well as from some mementos of journeys.
