This year Kasama Nichido Museum of Art marks the 50th anniversary since its foundation in 1972. To celebrate, the museum is pleased to present an exhibition that traces the trajectory of modern art by showcasing a selection of works that span from Impressionism, represented by artists such as Monet and Renoir, French painting with a special focus on Tsuguharu Foujita, one of the most acclaimed artists of the Ecole de Paris, and modern and contemporary Western-style painting led by Yuichi Takahashi, regarded by many as the first true Y?ga painter, to American star Andy Warhol's pop art. We hope that through these works visitors will be able to look back on the history of the museum's collection and discover the art trends that, over the years, developed and remained centered around Paris, Tokyo, and New York.

Admissions Adults 1000 yen/ Seniors 65+ 800 yen Collage/ High School Students 700 yen Junior High School/ Elementary School Students Free.
(200 yen discount for each visitor in a group more than 20 people, 50% discount for the handicapped ID holders and their companion.)
